Cleanup of Status API to use SparkSession and also noticed that Status defines two empty classes without using 'pass' and two methods that do not return 'None' explicitly if requested info can not be fetched.  These issues do not cause any errors, but it is good practice to use 'pass' on an empty class definitions and return 'None' for a function if the caller is expecting a return value.
