[jira] Commented: (AVRO-649) Allow pluggable ThreadPools in Java HttpServer

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AVRO-649?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12905194#action_12905194 ]

Doug Cutting commented on AVRO-649:
-----------------------------------

I like that the public API for HttpServer is independent of the underlying Http server implementation: we could easily switch it to use Tomcat or Resin without breaking any users. I'm a little reluctant to lose that.
