I installed Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.0_Linux_x86-64_install-deb_de.tar.gz and then
the en-GB lang pack. Got several warnings although everything works well. Then
I installed the en-US lang package. The warnings may have a trivial cause. Of
course there is no openoffice-en-gb* installed when I'm going to install the
en-gb langauge pack.

There were no separate language packs for x64. So I assumed that the existing
ones is alright. In the end it's just a bunch of data.
Meanwhile I found
http://apache.mirror.iphh.net/openoffice/4.1.0/binaries/en-GB/Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.0_Linux_x86-64_langpack-deb_en-GB.tar.gz
So I think it was just a matter of being too early.

Can you provide the full URL to the en-GB langpack you tried to install? Did
you check that all the files you downloaded are for 64-bit Linux? I had no
issues with langpacks either.
