DO generate create fetchlist of URL"S unfetched ?

HI all,

I have some doubts while using generate command in Nutch.

Do generate create fetchlist of urls from the webdb that are unfetched or new ?
Do Nutch provides any option over their to control the fetchlist generated ?

Also do we have any commands to work on webdb directly in Nutch ?

Any help is greatly appreciated
