Hey Eric,
Sorry for the "highjack", but I am developing a "truly incredible" LLM
integration plugin for NetBeans and I am desperate to figure out how to
"annotate" files in the projects view with a "badge" / decoration like the
git module does so the user can see which files in the project are in
context for the LLM.
Do you know how to do this? the plugin is good, it gives the AI model an
overview of all your open projects and you can throw a bunch of files into
context for the model to help you coding. The model can look at the logs,
open files in your editor, scroll to a given line, run shell commands, run
java code, etc. the plugin is always aware of:
Any IDE Alerts, what files you have open, system properties,
environment properties, and it shows you the Diff viewer whenever the model
wants to update a file.
Currently, the model can run up to 42 tools (execute 42 different java
methods in the netbeans JVM itself) and it shows the models java code using.
