Configuration areas

Hello,

I've read in the documantation that there is a per user configuration
area, and a per system configuration area, but I haven't seen any per
repository configuration area. It kind of surprises me, since it would
seem the natural place for the administrator of a repository to define
some of his policies.

I agree that not all information would be meaningfull here
(http-proxy-host...), but some of them would perfectly make sense, I
believe (global-ignores, auto-props...).

Best regards,

Per-repository configs are a much requested feature, for all the reasons
you mention, but nobody seems to be working on it at the moment, at
least that I know of.
