How I should change this?

I wrote this using xerces-1.0.3, and this works fine.
After changing version of xerces to 1.0.4 and later to 1.1.0
thinot work:
		//XML document
		XSLTInputSource xmlSource = new XSLTInputSource(new
StringReader(xml));
		
		//XSL document
		XSLTInputSource xslSource = new XSLTInputSource(new
StringReader(xsl));
		
		StringWriter stringWriter = new StringWriter();
		XSLTResultTarget xmlResult = new
XSLTResultTarget(stringWriter);
		try {
			XSLTProcessor processor =
XSLTProcessorFactory.getProcessor();
			processor.process(xmlSource, xslSource,
xmlResult);
		}
		catch (SAXException e) {
			throw new RemoteException("SAXException
Exception in TransformerBean::applyXSLtoXML().", e);
		}
		return stringWriter.toString()

xml and xsl are Strings. What I should change? Or maby there is faster
method of processing this?
