Any reason why jaas would be missing from the repository at ibiblio

Just downloaded continuum

svn co http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/maven/continuum/trunk/ continuum

and tried to build but the build failed.

Downloading: http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/jaas/jaas/1.0.1/jaas-1.0.1.jar
[WARNING] Unable to get resource from repository central (
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2)

[ERROR] BUILD ERROR

[INFO] Failed to resolve artifact.

Does anyone know why jaas would be missing from the repository?
http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/jaas/jaas/1.0.1/

Thanks,
Eric S.
