flash player 15

Hi All,

Can anybody clear up my confusion over FP 15?

Adobe blog, dated 9th September, announces release version of FP15 (see 
http://blogs.adobe.com/flashplayer/2014/09/flash-runtime-15-now-available-for-download.html)

Adobe Labs, dated 24th September, announces beta version of FP15 (see 
http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashruntimes/flashplayer/)

Assuming beta versions come before release versions, what am i missing?

Somewhere buried there would be the minor version which would be
incremented in the newer beta.
