And I saw that on http://www.w3.org/Style/XSL/TestSuite/contrib/FOP/

you render ...
  http://www.w3.org/Style/XSL/TestSuite/contrib/FOP/link.fo
as
  http://www.w3.org/Style/XSL/TestSuite/contrib/FOP/link.pdf

But that can not be right ... can it ???

In xslFoRef.pdf an "external-destination" is an "<uri-specification>"

Therefore a basic link to http://www.etad.com/Abstracts/2003/12140.pdf
MUST open as an URI ... or not ???
