Compiled XML?
Hi,
at one stage Cocoon had a "compiled" XML format where binary format was read
and produced sax events. Was that planned to be moved to XMLUtil, because
that would be very useful to me ;)

It is still in Cocoon, feel free to move it, its in
org.apache.cocoon.components.sax
