[jira] [Commented] (OAK-4285) Align cleanup of segment id tables with the new cleanup strategy

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-4285?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15318748#comment-15318748 ]

Michael Dürig commented on OAK-4285:
------------------------------------

I just implemented the sketched approach in OAK-2403. See http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?rev=1747254&view=rev.

I think there is no need for further action on the segment id tables and we should resolve this issue as won't fix.

> We need to align cleanup of the segment id tables with the new "brutal" strategy introduced with OAK-3348. That is, we need to remove those segment id's from the segment id tables whose segment have actually been gc'ed.
