Description:
Since several days I can't build maven with the bootstrap.
The build fails on the test-plugin-loading at the end of the bootstrap.
The error is the following :
[exec] test-plugin-loading:
[exec] [echo] DEPRECATED: the use of dependency-handle is deprecated. Please use maven:get/set to modify properties of the multiproject plugin
[exec] Plugin 'maven-deploy-plugin' in project 'Touchstone' is not available
[exec] BUILD FAILED
[exec] File...... C:\Work\Opensources\maven-1.0\maven.xml
[exec] Element... maven:maven
[exec] Line...... 66
[exec] Column.... 7
[exec] Unable to obtain goal [touchstone-tests] -- C:\Work\Opensources\maven-1.0\src\test\touchstone-build\maven.xml:859:13: <fail> maven.dist.tar.executable in dist plugin is not 'tar', is 'gtar'
[exec] Total time: 1 minutes 52 seconds
[exec] Finished at: Wed Jul 07 11:12:05 CEST 2004
The problem seems to appear because at work I defined in my %HOME%/build.properties the following property :
maven.dist.tar.executable = gtar
I don't want to comment this property each time I build maven.
