[jira] [Created] (CAMEL-24465) Paho MQTT consumers leak owned clients and threads after startup failures
NMK created CAMEL-24465:
---------------------------
Summary: Paho MQTT consumers leak owned clients and threads after startup failures
Key: CAMEL-24465
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-24465
Project: Camel
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: camel-paho, camel-paho-mqtt5
Reporter: NMK
Camel Paho V3 and V5 consumers only disconnect clients when {{isConnected()}} is true and never force-close internally created clients after failed startup. Repeated connection/subscribe timeouts retain Paho clients, Camel contexts, timer threads, and communication resources until the process reaches OOM. Owned clients should always be force-closed on startup failure and shutdown, while externally supplied clients remain untouched.
