[jira] Updated: (GERONIMO-226) Locical dependency support
[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-226?page=all ]
Aaron Mulder updated GERONIMO-226:
----------------------------------
Component: kernel
(was: management)
Fix Version: 1.1
Environment:
You can now query GBeans by the interface they implement as well as by a name query (though our implementation of the query is pretty slow). A next step would be to allow references by interface as well as by name query.

> Project: Geronimo

> Components: kernel
> Versions: 1.0-M1

> Fix For: 1.1
>
> It should be possible to state a dependency on the logical function a gbean supplies rather than being dependent on the gbean by name. This would allow us to easily swap implementations, upgrade implementations, and collect implementations without being coupled to a specific provider.
