ODE Performance compared to Orchestra

Hi,
We are evaluating ODE vs Orchestra. As part of this exercise we did some
performance test. Here is the summary
ODE - Normal execution - 900 TPS
ODE - InMeory execution - 30 TPS
This is a huge difference! Then i looked into the persistence layer. First i
enabled the SQL logs and saw that for a simple BPEL huge No of database
operations are happening (and also they are not happening in a transaction
so increasing the No of round trips to Database and so slowing down the
performance)
Can anybody comment on this observation and let me know whether any thing
can be fixed quickly? Anything happening in the future release in this area?
We also did a performance test on orchestra (with persistence) and saw
similar Nos. Has anybody got data for performance test for ODE and
Orchestra ?

-Siddharth
