[jira] Commented: (MRM-1361) Add support for NPanday artifact types

Dennis Lundberg commented on MRM-1361:
--------------------------------------

We are having trouble downloading .NET artifacts from Archiva. We are using NPanday and Maven's own Assembly Plugin. The assembly descriptor uses a dependencySet and the Assembly Plugin complains that it cannot find NUnit:NUnit.Framework:library:2.2.8.0 in Archiva. The file, which is a dll, is in Archiva but was installed with packaging=library. Archiva (version 1.3) shows it as a dll in the top right info-box, but the POM snippet says type=library.

Will this Archiva plugin solve this problem for us?

If so, can it be installed into an Archiva 1.3 instance or does it require any 1.4 API:s?

> NPanday (http://www.npanday.org/) declares a number of new artifact handlers that Maven can use as extensions to be able to deploy .NET artifacts into a repository. There should be an Archiva plugin that can recognise these types for path conversion so that they can be uploaded through the web form, and viewed in the artifact information page correctly.
