query regading crimson

sir,

  i have a doubt regarding the crimson parsing.

	- is crimson is only a parser or is there any way to get the DOM
	  tree for given xml document.

  plz kindly help me in this regard.

	If you are looking at an alternative parser then refer to
http://xml.apache.org/xerces2-j/index.html
