[jira] [Updated] (ARROW-13981) [Java] VectorSchemaRootAppender doesn't work for BitVector

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARROW-13981?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]

ZHUO ZHANG updated ARROW-13981:
-------------------------------
    Description:
Looks like the buffer copy logic doesn't work for BitVector, even though the BitVector is from BaseFixedWidthVector. I created two VectorSchemaRoot (target empty), calling
{code:java}
VectorSchemaRootAppender.append(target, source);{code}
then reading from the target didn't give me correct result.
