{VOTE???} Release Maven 3.0-beta-3

In the discussion over the weekend, it seemed like a high value was placed
on having a beta-3 that differed from beta-2 only (or almost only) in the
Aether and Guice changes.

 

Given that, should a second vote get started for beta-3 ASAP, so that
there's as little other change between them as possible?

 

(It may be the plan to base beta-3 off the beta-2 tag, rather than trunk.
If so, ignore this suggestion!)

Hi all!

Thanks for the great release. I thought I let you know that the new beta-2
release works like a charm for Android projects using the Maven Android
Plugin.

On to trying the new site plugin next ..

There were a long long discussion about that on this mailing list and we decided to push a beta-2 without and can now integrate them.
A beta 3 wil be published with these changes ASAP
