[jira] Commented: (MNG-1428) svn authentication fails during release:prepare
Posted by "John Casey (JIRA)" <ji...@codehaus.org>.
John Casey commented on MNG-1428:
---------------------------------
this may be related to the usage of the password command-line arg in the maven-scm SVN provider, when password is not provided, esp. since the command line specifies non-interactive svn execution mode.

[jira] Commented: (MRELEASE-40) svn authentication fails during
release:prepare
Posted by "Dan Tran (JIRA)" <ji...@codehaus.org>.
Dan Tran commented on MRELEASE-40:
----------------------------------
org.codehaus.mojo's dependency-maven-plugin ran into similar problem where
the local username and svn username are not the same. For this case
we had to invoke
mvn release:prepare -Dusername=svnusername
Is this the same case?
