RE: building for AIX

I was not finding the makefile STLPort on AIX.  Also the makefiles for the
gnu g++ were not getting along with my version of g++.

Yes, it is.  You can download the STLPort version for AIX from the site.
You do not need to build it.

What makefiles do you mean?  The Xerces and Xalan makefiles or the STLPort
makefile?

        The xalan c++ source that is setup for building on AIX, in the
Makefile references
something called STLport.  Is this the same STLport available from
www.stlport.org?
If so is there some place to get the makefiles for AIX compilers?
