Reason for DEFAULT_MAX_FILE_COUNT = 1000
Hello!
I am wondering what the reason behind putting a default limit
DEFAULT_MAX_FILE_COUNT = 1000
in https://apache.googlesource.com/poi/+/a6a37bd0f012a4ccfca3760418bf53ca5da65a4c%5E%21/
was.
Why 1000?
I am aware of a possibility to override the limit. I am interested in the reason which is not documented to get some hint for the override.
Thank you for a clarification!
Best regards,
Jiri Hofman

Hi,
While 1000 is likely a bit arbitrary and has no actual reason compared to
other values, we usually set such limits so that all the "normal" documents
can be parsed fine, i.e. ideally only few cases should require custom
adjustment of the limit.
Thanks... Dominik.
