The reported warning seems to be harmless:
1. as reported by http://www.slf4j.org/codes.html#substituteLogger this warning is related to loggers during startup time: in our case the logger involved is the audit logger
2. log messages are continuously written to configured log files, audit messages are stored in the expected db tables
