   I have tried to implement flink-tidb-connector in flink-1.9.0. Type conversions are hard to solve when use row and dataset. These problems do not appear in the new version of flink such as 1.11/1.12/1.13/1.14. So I think this plugin should implement  in Flink-1.14. I am waiting for this roadmap task finished: https://github.com/apache/incubator-seatunnel/issues/870.
