Steps how to reproduce Reproducible with "AOO 4.1.0-Dev – English UI / German
locale - [AOO410m1(Build:9750) - Rev. 1516435 2013-08-24]" on German WIN7

Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile:
1. From AOO Start Center open attached Sample document "FilterGroupSample.ods"
2. Click '-' Collapse Group Button left from row heading "9"
> Rows 9...13 become hidden
3. Click column Heading "A"
> Column becomes selected A1:A1048576
4. Menu 'Data -> Filter -> Standard Filter'
> Filter Criteria dialog appears
5. Select criteria 'Column A < 20' <ok>
> Rows 1 ... 19 become visible (what means Group o longer is collapsed)
Bug: Collapse Group Button left from row heading "9" shows "+", what
seems to show that some group can be expanded, but that's not true,
group already is expanded

a) This was ok in OOo 1.1.5, 2.0.2, 3.1.1
b) Already reproducible with OOo 3.3.0, so REGRESSION
c) I wonder whether this one might be related to "97251 - Filtering
outlined/grouped elements does not allow collapsing of outline", but
"Version" does not match, the bug described here appeared later than 3.0
d) I will think about the fact that Filtering makes visible the collapsed
group,
what might be a different bug or a feature, currently I am not sure
