next beta on friday

i'm planning to release another round of beta releases on friday for the following projects:

torque
turbine
fulcrum (there will be no final release as it's not part of turbine 2.2!!)
tdk

build-system:
=============

i'll use maven HEAD to do the release builds.
maven-b5 will be released soon, so i will not pay attention to maven-b4 based builds.
i'll rename the maven-b4 build files to build-maven.xml and generate build.xml files with maven

final releases:
===============

so here's the plan:

* apply all patches sent to the list
* make sure everything works fine ;-)
* beta build on friday
* one week vacation with my girlfriend and my yamaha tdm :-))
* do some bugfixing when i'm back
* planned date for rc1 builds: 23-08-2002
* planned date for final release: 30-08-2002

there should be no big changes between fridays betas and the rc1 builds!
so if you want to add any features, please add them before friday!!!!!

Hope you have fun there. :-)

As you read this after you've come back: I've checked in all the
little changes and fixes for Torque and Fulcrum (and soon T2, too)
that I have lying around. Basically our internal CVS is now on par
with the Jakarta stuff except for the DBSecurityService.
