a trim down version?
Hi everyone,
I am using ecs to generate xml right now. But since the xml generation
is only a small portion of my program, and I definitely will not need
html and other stuff, Is there a trim down version avaliable? Or is
there any other tool that I could use for simple xml generation?

maybe (when we get that far) i should take a look at adding package-only
builds to the ecs2 build script.
BTW i'm going to commit generation scripts really soon. the packages i
rely on in jakarta-commons are going to be released in the next couple of
days or you can checkout jakarta-commons and roll you own. you also need a
recent copy of velocity (1.2 dev rather than 1.1) and ant 1.4 installed.

No their is no trimmed down version available. However you are welcome

and org.apache.ecs.xml I believe that will cover your needs.
