[jira] [Created] (GEODE-4699) Remove generics from
MemberStarterRule
Jens Deppe created GEODE-4699:
---------------------------------
Summary: Remove generics from MemberStarterRule
Key: GEODE-4699
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GEODE-4699
Project: Geode
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: gfsh
Reporter: Jens Deppe
Maybe just a personal peev, but I feel that generics should be opaque to the classes that use them and they should not inform any particular functionality. MemberStarterRule and classes that extend it should use OO to derive different functionality. The way generics are being used here is just confusing.
