[jira] [Comment Edited] (ISIS-1967) Add tests from Diffblue Deeptest

Hi Peter, thanks for your proposal. We are happy to see new contributions!

However, could you please explain your motivation behind contributing to the Apache Isis framework other than advertising your company?

Obviously you are promoting an 'Automatic Test Generation' product. Please understand, if that is your only motivation, then it is also very likely that we will consider not to accept any PRs.

Kind regards,
 Andi

> [Diffblue|https://www.diffblue.com/] is an Oxford, UK-based start-up which develops software to analyse code and automatically generate tests. We have run an analysis against the apache-isis repository on github, which has produced 8891 verified tests. I am proposing to file a PR to add a sample (21) of these tests into the Isis repo.

Hi Andi
Thanks for your quick response.
We are looking to provide tests to open source projects with the aim of
benefiting those projects by increasing coverage and allowing developers
to focus on more creative work. We are not asking for anything in return
but we are open to feedback on the tests and constantly improving them
based on any information received. I have selected a relatively small
number of tests for an initial PR to allow you to assess them but we are
prepared to provide more if you are happy to receive them.

Best regards

Peter
