I checked it out it has no change. It has a capital
H for HttpConnectionHandler.

Now I get this error when I included the
tomcat-apache.conf to httpd.conf of apache. This is
strange, tomcat has created this file. So I thought
I'l run apache and see if it behaves.
Now I get the screens with the directories, but
when I try to access the /jsp or /servlets files it
gives me the follwing error in mod_jserv log file.

07/2000 10:33:51:430] (EMERGENCY) ajp12: connection
fail
[06/07/2000 10:33:51:430] (ERROR) an error returned
handling request via protocol "ajpv12"

Could this be beacuse I have commented
<!--

I commented this only when I ran it with apache when
it was running as standalone i commented the 8007
port.

What could be the problem ? Do mail me if you have
an idea. I am sure you can help me out.

  thanks,

  nivedan

Nivedan,

You need to keep the entry for the listener on port 8007. That's the one
for the ajp12 protocol. If you already have a server using that port,
you can change it. But it is necessary both with apache, and to run as a
stand-alone server.
