Access Denied error on ANKh Commit
I am using:
WinXP Pro as both client/server
VS 2005
Installers Used:
svn-1.4.5-setup.exe
AnkhSetup-1.0.1.2736-Final.msi
SVNService.zip
So far I got everything to work except when I go to commit. I get the
error below and I noted that the file 3-1.txn does not exist.
NSvn.Core.SvnClientException:
Commit failed (details follow):
at NSvn.Core.Client.Commit(String[] targets, Recurse recurse, Boolean
keepLocks) in d:\tmp\build-1\src\nsvn.core\client.cpp:line 379
at Ankh.Commands.CommitItemCommand.DoCommit(IContext context) in
D:\tmp\build-1\src\Ankh\Commands\CommitItemCommand.cs:line 102
at Ankh.SimpleProgressWorker.Work(IContext context) in
D:\tmp\build-1\src\Ankh\ProgressRunner.cs:line 24
at Ankh.ProgressRunner.Run() in
D:\tmp\build-1\src\Ankh\ProgressRunner.cs:line 95
NSvn.Core.SvnClientException:
Can't create directory '\\steven\repo\db\transactions\3-1.txn': Access
is denied.
dte=8.0&
Version: 1.0.1.2736
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think I have it narrowed down to the snvserve not having the proper
permissions.
In the passwd file what user/password combo should be set in there?

You might want to post this to the Ankh list, since it is involved. Are
you sure you have the proper permissions for the server process? The
root of your error is "Access Denied", which produced an error in your
SVN client that propagated up to Ankh, from the look of it.
