Maven Javadoc plugin 1.5 released

The maven team is pleased to announce the Maven Javadoc Plug-in 1.5 release!

Changes in this version include:

  Fixed bugs:

o javadoc:jar changed to place the jar in maven.build.dir 
o trim absolute paths to basedir in javadoc report, remove [javadoc] banner 
  Issue: MPJAVADOC-22. Thanks to fabrizio giustina. 

  Changes:

o Add plugin test project  

To automatically install the plugin, type the following on a single line:

maven plugin:download 
  -DgroupId=maven 
  -DartifactId=maven-javadoc-plugin
  -Dversion=1.5
