   @vthinkxie is there a way to test this w/o restarting the job manager, by just changing the UI files? (Unfortunately I won't be able to make a complete custom build/deploy for this change currently.)
   
   Also, would it be better to display a visual indicator that the watermark metrics could not be retrieved rather than just showing nothing. That caused a lot of confusion for users previously and I would almost prefer the current error message over that previous behavior.
