[jira] Commented: (MAVENUPLOAD-1651) junit 4.4

Tomislav Stojcevich commented on MAVENUPLOAD-1651:
--------------------------------------------------
A question about this particular upload. For the first time junit has included files from another project in their distributed jar. The files under the org/hamcrest package.
The maven way would be not to include those files and just add a dependency to the org/hamcrest jar which is in the repo (version 1, although version 1.1 is available at http://code.google.com/p/hamcrest/downloads/list and I think that is what they used based on what's in their scm http://junit.cvs.sourceforge.net/junit/junit/lib).
So, should I redo this and remove the org/hamcrest class files from the junit.jar that was obtained directly from the junit download site http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=15278 and add a maven dependency to the hamcrest 1.1 jar(which would also need to be uploaded), or leave it as is since they include those class files in their distribution?
