Custom Login Page

Hi all,

We are writing a custom Login page for a webapp for Geronimo-1.1.1. Is there
an specific service that can be called to login from a servlet?

Or should we perform all the steps listed in the wiki?:

This is from Geronimo-1.0 but the 1.1 documentation is rather short...
