MPT is a dependency of james 3.x and so needs to be released before a
milestone could be cut. mine is the only vote cast so far.

if this is a just a lack of time then i'm happy to wait until people
have some cycles to spare. if it's a lack of interest then please let
me know so i can move the project offshore.
