   @raphw I took the liberty to take another stab, basically redid exactly what you did (slight change is file naming), but also made several cleanups, and "reclaimed" FileXXX name from existing proviided checksum source as it claimed it making a bit strange to have several file backed ones.
   
   If you agree, please close out this PR and lets continue in https://github.com/apache/maven-resolver/pull/199
