t:popup: popupElem has not properties
I installed myfaces 1.1.5 snapshot and now the t:popup component is not
working. I checked the myfaces examples site and it is not working there
also.
Is there a fix for this?

Yes, it does sounds like a bug. At minimum, the need for an id
should be documented. But more likely, it should use the
auto-generated id if no id is specified.
You should open a JIRA issue on this. You might even be able to
track down the problem and fix it fairly easily since it's a matter of
getting the id into the javascript even if it's not manually
specified.

After further investigation, I was able to get the t:popup to work if I
included an id:
<t:popup id="x"
Is this a bug or feature?
