How to initialize trafodion again?

Hi all,

After installing and initializing Trafodion, I do some operation. Then I'd like to drop all these results and get a completely new one, i.e. I want to reinitialize trafodion.

Trying to initialize Trafodion directly, I get:
SQL>initialize trafodion;

*** ERROR[1392] Trafodion is already initialized on this system. No action is needed. [2018-01-22 15:53:16]

So I have to delete the directory local_hadoop and reinstall the local Hadoop.
It takes lots of time and effect.

Then is there any way that make it easy to reinitialize Trafodion?

                You can do “initialize trafodion, drop”, and then do “initialize Trafodion”.

You can use initialize trafodion,drop; to clean up trafodion metadata. Then use initialize trafodion to initialize it.
