[jira] [Created] (CTAKES-91) cTAKES Apache web site pages don't
look like edits
Troy Bleeker created CTAKES-91:
----------------------------------
Summary: cTAKES Apache web site pages don't look like edits
Key: CTAKES-91
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CTAKES-91
Project: cTAKES
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Troy Bleeker
> > I was edited Community FAQs to get a handle on these edits. I
> > learned that Submit is not the same as Commit. I knew I had to
> > commit the changes but I thought Submitting them would do that. Not so.

> > More importantly, when editing this page:

> > Before editing you get a preview. During editing there is a preview

We can certainly try to ask them to see if the preview could preserve the CSS. But I wonder if its easier for use to remove the custom headers/bullets from our CSS file.

Pei Chen commented on CTAKES-91:
--------------------------------
I presume you mean that the preview page looks different than staging: My guess is that the stylesheet (content/ctakes/css/ctakes.css) defined in the templates/skeleton.html is overriding the look and feel and the preview page is not using the css when generating the preview. Not sure if there's any good ideas around this...

Yes, if you use the online CMS browser plugin, you can navigate up few directories up to content/ctakes/css/ctakes.css and could modify the css as you wish. I think it was added for the left panel navigation. But feel free to try and remove the headers and bullets decorations or modify it if necessary.

In your first comment I interpreted that to mean we had to use that CSS file. If we can get rid of custom settings and go back to whatever the default is that would be a good starting point. I don't know how to do that. Do you?
