Re: Are both the machined should have soap installed????

each side should have a soap package to handle the marshalling/unmarshalling of
soap messages - but not necesarrily the same package

for example if I want to write my service code in java I may wish to deploy
Apache SOAP for java and tomcat on the server side
but if I want to exploit the services using Visual Basic then I will need the MS
Soap Toolkit on the client side
there are many possible combinations
