Managed bean creation in org.apache.myfaces.config.ManagedBeanBuilder

In  
org.apache.myfaces.config.ManagedBeanBuilder#initializeProperties(FacesC 
ontext facesContext, Iterator managedProperties, Object bean), line  
182:

             Object coercedValue = ClassUtils.convertToType(value,  
propertyClass);

Shouldn't we search for a convertor and use that, here?
