[GitHub] [flink-statefun] igalshilman opened a new pull request #114: [FLINK-17611] Add unix domain sockets to remote functions

igalshilman opened a new pull request #114:
URL: https://github.com/apache/flink-statefun/pull/114

   This PR builds on top of #110, and adds the last two commits (see: [here](https://github.com/apache/flink-statefun/pull/110#discussion_r426629629) for additional context)
   * 217af5c - Adds various utilities to bridge between okhttp and unix domain socket library.
   * 3aea285 - Use these utilies configure an okhttp to communicate with a unix domain socket.

   cc: @slinkydeveloper

   note: this change was tested manually by modifying the python greeter example to communicate over a unix domain socket.

Review comment:
       nit: maybe rename this to better match its purpose
   ```suggestion
         final int sockPathIndex = indexOfSockFile(path);
   ```

Review comment:
       I wonder if `IllegalArgumentException` is better here?

   Hi @slinkydeveloper,
   I've omitted that commit since it included additional changes beside the test. (Docker files, print statements, etc')
   I've took the test code and refactored it a little and now it is included.

   All and all, I think that the PR is in a really good shape, I've validated it locally.

   @tzulitai when merging, feel free to squash everything to a single commit / re-arrange them a little bit, since some of the changes are already bundled anyways.
