[GitHub] [beam] damccorm opened a new issue, #21287: Support for non-private key auth authentication in SnowflakeIO for streaming write
damccorm opened a new issue, #21287:
URL: https://github.com/apache/beam/issues/21287
SnowflakeIO usesĀ [SnowPipe REST calls](https://docs.snowflake.com/en/user-guide/data-load-snowpipe.html). which means that only authorization with a private key is supported. We should think of a way to add the other authentication methods, ie OAuth and username / password.
Imported from Jira [BEAM-13817](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEAM-13817). Original Jira may contain additional context.
