Opening HTML Project Issue

Hello there folks!

 

First time poster, so please be gentle with me 😊

 

I have installed Apache Netbeans 12.3, and am noticing the improvements : one of them being, one of my projects is an Angular one… in previous versions it took around 30 minutes to open up, but now such projects open much more quickly.

 

However, I have come across the following issue:

 

I can open “animation-test” and close as and when required. When I try and open DTSFrontend (Selected in the attached dialog), nothing happens. No exceptions, no activity. Nothing. I did note though that “animation-test” has a different icon to “DTSFrontend” which would suggest that perhaps there is some mis identification going on?

 

Both projects were originally created in the IDE Atom (I had to use that for front end development due to Netbeans being slow to open, but that issue has since been resolved).

 

This is a Windows 10 machine with 16GB Ram, and Intel® Core™ i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20 GHz.

 

Also… can someone point me to the sources of Netbeans, and walk me through the process of making the change? I have a small feature I want to add, and as a personal thing, it will be my first attempted contribution to an open source project. I want to get involved after years of self taught programming.
