Configuring 2 zones on single management server

Hi all,

We want to create the second zone on the Cloudstack management server.

I tried creating the new Zone, but it failed.
The Cluster gets created, but there are no hosts attached.
I suspect that since the hosts in the VMWare cluster are already associated with the existing Zone, they cannot be associated with the new zone.
The final step - adding the Primary storage - also fails. Something to do with the POD not be reachable.

I investigated the possibility of just adding the IP Addresses to the existing Zone.
If we try and add the IP Range to the existing Zones physical network, I get an error saying that the "VLAN gateway is different from the untagged VLAN ID" - there are disappointingly few references to this in Google.

Is there a way to add another subnet to an existing Physical Network?

Asmita,

You can't use the same hosts in two different zones however you can use the same vCenter as the vCenter for hosts in different Zones.
