[jira] [Commented] (FLINK-17549) Support running Stateful Functions on native Kubernetes setup

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-17549?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17101730#comment-17101730 ]

Igal Shilman commented on FLINK-17549:
--------------------------------------

Hey, thank you for taking the initiative here to open this ticket!

Because StateFun has its own launcher, is would be a large public facing change and should go through a FLIP. There have been a number of offline discussions about the next steps in stateful functions related to deployment modes and I don’t want us to overlap on work or do things that could be contradictory.

is it something you were interested in working on, or is it a feature request ticket?
