[jira] [Created] (OAK-239) MicroKernel.getRevisionHistory: maxEntries behavior should be documented

Thomas Mueller created OAK-239:
----------------------------------

Summary: MicroKernel.getRevisionHistory: maxEntries behavior should be documented
                 Key: OAK-239
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-239
             Project: Jackrabbit Oak
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: mk
            Reporter: Thomas Mueller

The method MicroKernel.getRevisionHistory uses a parameter maxEntries to limit the number of returned entries. If the implementation has to limit the entries, it is not clear from the documentation which entries to return (the oldest entries, the newest entries, or any x entries).
