Sitemesh 3

As I was starting a new project I realised that struts2-sitemesh-plugin
uses sitemesh 2 and that sitemesh 3 is already available.

I didn't find any discussion on this topic, but are there any plans to
update the plugin in a future release?

To be honest I've always balanced between sitemesh and tiles - maybe
tiles has a configuration overhead (tiles.xml) which makes sitemesh a
bit more simple.

Cheers,

Miguel

Yes, it's quite fresh but unofficially was available few months ago
